Artist Statement
A mirror is a
reflective glass that reveals a clear image. My final project was to capture
life through the eyes of a mirror. Photography is comparable to a mirror.
Sometimes photography doesn’t capture what people would like to see in life. It
is a mirror because it reveals flaws, and is a reflection of someone or
something’s characteristics. The key aspect of a mirror isn’t the shiny
texture, but the clear, reflected image. The descriptive capabilities of photography
are represented via refection in my final portfolio.
